Inside My Shell
Years ago someone asked me "When are you most happy?" and I answered: "Being creative". That's what this blog is about.

TGI Friday No. 3
Trusting - that God is in charge. This is particularly important to me this week. Today this post really resonated with me.
Grateful - for those who believe in me when I don't and who help me grow wings
Inspired - I've been admiring Karin Elizabeth's Jilted series for a while now.

Thanksgiving
Last Sunday was Thanksgiving in Germany. It's more a harvest thing and not such a big deal as in the States but still it got me thinking about the things in my life I'm thankful for. I know thanks belongs to God first of all and for everything but it doesn't hurt to count my blessings once in a while.
I've seen TGI Fridays on other blogs and I believe it would be good for me to start this myself.
Trusting - that changes to come will be for the better and everything is in good hands.
Grateful - for a beautiful fall, my job, my family, friends (online and offline)
Inspired - by this week's Magnetic Monday on Pocoyayo

Scott Kelby's Photo Walk 2009
I know, I know - it took me almost two month to process and share these photos. I like shooting in RAW but converting to jpg is very time consuming (esp. when you deal with a greater number of photos) and I don't always have that time right away. Anyhow, before I start babbling - here are my impressions.
We started off at the Siegessäule:
The route was well prepared and led mostly through the Tiergarten and, later, over the campus of the university.
The weather on July 18th, the day of the photo walk, was not that good. We managed to stay dry for the most part but everything was wet and rather dark.
Impressions from the Tiergarten part:

On the way from Tiergarten to campus:

Looking at this, I get the impression I was a little obsessed with details that day ... If you want to see more here's the whole set.

To see a world
To see a world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.
William Blake
I love that quote. In a way that describes how I feel about photography.
